CONGRESSMAN’S ‘GET THE HELL OUT OF THE USA’ BLAST HAS LIBERAL PANTIES IN A KNOT
“Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.”
I love Allen West. At a speech to Florida Republicans in West Palm Beach, he suggested that Democratic leaders – including Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Debbie Wasserman Schultz – should pack their bags, and take their failed European-style politics elsewhere. Excellent idea, Congressman.
On cue, Liberal Elites have their self-righteous, hypocritical panties in a knot over West’s comments. These are the same indignant loons who said nothing when Sarah Palin and her family – including her special-needs son – were personally and viciously attacked on a regular basis during the 2010 campaign.
Veteran liberal political commentator Bob Beckel, whom I actually like, was mortified:
“In my 30 years of politics, I have never heard anything more disgraceful in my life. I think that Allen West owes an apology to a lot of people. He’s lucky to have that seat in the first place. And you better be careful, my friend, because you’re getting on the edge there and you’re taking that Tea Party crowd with you.”
Seriously, Bob? You’ve never heard anything “more disgraceful” in your life? And Allen West was “getting on the edge,” you say? Let me bring you up to speed:
“You got [sic] to be kind to the disabled.” - Charles Rangel on Palin’s popularity.
“Sarah Palin’s family and pregnant teen are fair game.” – Barney Frank
“She’s only qualified because she did not have an abortion.” – South Carolina Democratic chairwoman Carol Fowler
“Palin is a cocky wacko.” – Former Senator Lincoln Chaffee
Notice that I’ve only quoted Democratic politicians, Bob? (Apples to apples, dude.) I can include comments made by the likes of David Letterman – who suggested that Palin’s 14-year-old daughter was “knocked up by Alex Rodriguez during the seventh inning,” or Bill Maher – who called Palin a “dumb twat,” if you’d like.
Love ya Bob, but you’re a disingenuous hypocrite here, and you know it.
Oh, and I’ve never heard you chastise the racist comments of Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, Malik Zulu Shabazz, Angela Davis, Cornel West, or Jesse Jackson, either.
The selective outrage of Liberals is pathetic – but fun to watch, just the same.
Hell, Bob – I didn’t even mention the “lipstick on a pig” comment made by Obama during the 2010 election.
