MISHY HAS A SPIRITUAL MOMENT AS SHE WITNESSES ABOUT THE ONE
We’ve all heard the references to Jesus Christ by now. Hell – most of us have heard the references to the Antichrist, as well. Regardless of which side you come down on, no other elected official – nor anyone else, for that matter – in the history of the United Stated has been the focus of such otherworldly description. Nope, Barack Hussein Obama is The One. Either way.
It should come as no surprise then, that none other than Mishy Obama herself could not help but define the works of her
Savior husband in heavenly terms this week – by alluding to Bible scripture. (1 Peter 2:9)
“We have an amazing story to tell. This President has brought us out of the dark and into the light.”
The arrogance of these people is incredible. From the beginning of his presidency, O has compared himself with everyone from Abraham Lincoln to Franklin D. Roosevelt to Ronald Reagan. For now, in somewhat humble deference to his predecessors, he only considers himself to be the fourth best president in history – subject to change, of course. Then we had Crazy Joe Biden describe the O-man as the most courageous individual of the last 500 years – at least. And now this. Should we be surprised?
Mishy was speaking to a crazed group of believers in Nashville when the not-so-holy spirit apparently overcame her. Here’s the context of her comment:
Mishy: So I think, Nashville, it’s time, right? It is time for us to get to work. It’s time for us to get moving. (Enthusiastic applause.) It’s time for us to roll up our sleeves. So I have one last question for you: Are you in?
Rabid crowd: Yes!
Mishy: Wait, wait, wait, I couldn’t hear you. Are you in?
Rabid crowd: Yes!!!
Mishy: Are you in?!?
Rabid crowd: Yes!!!!!
Mishy: Because I am so in. I am so in. I am going to be working so hard. We have an amazing story to tell. This President has brought us out of the dark and into the light. (Hysterical applause.) But we need each and every one of you as fired up as you’ve been. You need to find 10 other people just like you, shake them up, right? (Pandemonium.) Remind them what’s at stake. Don’t let them get confused. Have them understand what we are trying to do for our children.
Find 10 other people and shake them up? Wouldn’t that be proselytizing? Either way, the good folks at The Weekly Standard noticed Mishy’s scripture reference as well:
“In religious terms, light is used to denote the true path, presented either by God or a savior. Or by Barack Obama.”
Kinda reminds me of Monty Python’s Life of Brian, although Brian actually denied that he was the Savior.
