HOLDER’S DOJ CLAIMS ACTION VIOLATES 1965 VOTING RIGHTS ACT: HUH?
Having grown up in Greater Chicagoland, I have always associated “Vote early – and often!” with the Richard J. Daley political machine of the ’60′s and ’70′s. While the practice of individual voters casting multiple votes may not be as prevalent today as it once was, it appears that the practice of dead voters showing up at the polls (to vote Democratic, of course) is alive and well.
If that were not the case, why would the Regime be jumping all over Florida – a pivotal electoral state – for its purge of dead voters from voter-registration rolls? Huh? Seriously – WTF?
T. Christian Herren Jr., head of the Justice Department’s “voting section,” says that Florida’s effort to “eliminate voters” violates the 1965 Voting Rights Act, which outlaws discriminatory voting practices that disenfranchise minorities.
On a list of more than 2,700 voters that Florida suspects are noncitizens – or dead – blacks and Latinos are “disproportionately represented” – according to the Miami Herald, which concluded that Democratic and independent voters are the most likely to be targeted. Again, DUH. Who else, wealthy Republicans?
Memo to those of you who still have trouble understanding how liberals think: Whether it’s support for lax immigration laws, opposition to voter ID laws or Eric Holder’s threat to Florida over its purging of dead voters, the answer can be summed up in one word – five letters – VOTES. Anything and everything that liberals support – or oppose – is determined by votes. Always.
Anyway, the latest effort by Florida to prevent election fraud was recently blocked by a federal judge (the Regime) after the “Justice” Department ordered the state to halt a purge of “non-citizens” from its voter rolls. (Dead people.)
Following a brief halt to the purge – despite the Regime’s warning – Florida has resumed its quest to purge ineligible people – dead and alive – from its voter-registration rolls. Loons: please tell me why this is a bad thing.
Despite the warning from the Regime, Florida said on Saturday that it intends to go forward with its campaign: “We have a year-round obligation to ensure the integrity of Florida‘s elections. We will be responding to (the Justice Department’s) concerns next week,” Florida spokesman Chris Cate wrote in an email to Reuters.
I recently had this debate – ad nauseum – with a Facebook follower: If a given party favors lax voter ID laws – or opposes efforts to purge voter-registration rolls ofineligible voters – including dead people – what does that say about said party’s objectives? Obviously, that party believes that it alone benefits from lax voter laws – and allowing dead people to vote. It can pretend to speak “for those who are disenfranchised” and the “sacred” right to vote until the cows come home, but guess what? At the end of the day, it’s all about counting (Democratic) votes.
Thanks for playing, Democrats; are you really that desperate?
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups. Even dead groups.

Of course they are, Rat. As another Greater Chicagoland emigre, we know who defends voter fraud don’t we? The state’s attorney (say DOJ) of course.
Right on, nee.

Yet Al and Jesse and Rachael call the efforts “voter suppression”. Legal voters may vote so what is being suppressed ?
The only thing these people want suppressed is the true will of the electorate, Carl.
