NARCISSIST-IN-CHIEF JUST CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF HIMSELF
Narcissism: 1. Excessive or erotic interest in oneself and one’s physical appearance. 2. Extreme selfishness, with a grandiose view of one’s own talents and a craving fro admiration. Does it for me. Last one out, turn off the lights.
Seriously, have you ever seen O jog up to a podium to give a speech as if he’s the starting quarterback running out of the tunnel at the Super Bowl? To say dude is full of himself is an understatement. Hell – President I-Me-My makes Donald Trump look insecure.
Speaking of speeches, O might have set a Guinness world record last week for the most references to I, me or my in a single speech – referencing himself 117 times in 25 minutes and 32 seconds. For those of you keeping score at home, that’s once every 13.09 seconds.
Speaking in Sandusky, Ohio on July 5, O used “I” 98 times and “me” 19 times, according to a transcript of the speech posted on the White House website. While I lack the intestinal fortitude to watch the entire speech myself, here’s the complete video for those of you able to stomach such ridiculous displays of self-aggrandizement.
In closing, the Narcissist-in-Chief told the fawning Obamabots:
“I want you to know that when I ran in 2008, I said I wasn’t going to be a perfect man and I certainly wasn’t going to be a perfect president, but I’d always tell you what I thought. I’d always tell you where I stood. And, most of all, I wake up every single day thinking about you.”
