O SKIPS MULTIPLE INTEL MEETINGS – HILLARY ASKS ‘HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?’
Perhaps I’ll be skewered by liberal readers (it won’t be the first time or last time) for having the “partisan audacity” to raise a couple of facts about the Regime’s role in the attack on the American consulate in Libya that resulted in the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans, but so be it; you can bet your ass they won’t be raised by the liberal media.
Wednesday morning, an apparently genuinely-anguished Hillary Clinton implored:
“How could this happen in a country we helped liberate, in a city we helped save from destruction?”
Bretibart.com had an answer:
That single line is the most damning indictment of Hillary Clinton’s State Department that could ever be penned. It demonstrates her complete lack of knowledge about the region, her failure to anticipate security threats, and worst of all, her willful ignorance about the Islamists that she and President Obama trusted to take over Libya and Egypt.
“How could this happen?”
Clinton, as Secretary of State, should know the answer to that question. That she didn’t anticipate even the remote possibility of the murder of our ambassador to Libya by her erstwhile friends led to his death. Hillary was quick differentiate – as was her boss – between those who carried out the attack, and the government and “good people of Libya.” Were these comments intended to assure the American people – or placate the Libyans? Whichever be the case, should not the Regime’s intel have told O in advance that the reality of such an apparently-coordinated attack was possible – if not probable?
Speaking of the Regime and intel, it was reported last week that The Government Accountability Institute examined O’s schedule from the day he took office until mid-June 2012, to see how often he attended his Presidential Daily Brief (PDB) -the meeting at which he is briefed on the most critical intelligence threats to the country. During his first 1,225 days in office, O attended his PDB just 536 times – or 43.8% of the time. Think about it.
Moreover, as reported by Breitbart.com: According to the White House calendar, there is no public record of President Barack Obama attending his PDB in the week leading up to the attacks on the U.S. embassy in Cairo and the murder of U.S. Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens and three American members of his staff.
The Regime’s response? “President Obama reads daily intelligence reports, even if he does not attend the briefings personally.”
Hell – can you blame him? Between golf, Letterman, fundraisers and George Clooney – would you have time to attend something as mundane as a daily intelligence briefing?
There is more that we are yet learn than what we now know about the events in Libya – and elsewhere in the Muslim world, for that matter. But here’s the bottom line:
Anyone who continues to believe that the events of the last several days were as result of Muslim outrage over an anti-Mohammed movie needs to get some fresh air and back off the Kool-Aid. As much as the Regime will never admit it, the war on terror is not over. Never has been.
Here’s the other bottom line:
Liberals sitting in their condescending glass houses throwing disingenuous rocks at Mitt Romney for having the courage to call a spade a spade is laughable – at best.
The Regime will be proven to have been asleep at the switch, America. Will the liberal media report the real story?

PolitiFacts says Obama quote was taken out of context. Only should be interpreted in context on interment of Japanese American during WWll. Well, it’s a world wide scene now not just U.S. He said, ” I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” Well, he and Hilliary and down to diplomate rank, with muslim feelings the paramount concern, have maneuvered the winds in an ugly direction. So how out of context now? Has Morsi been arranged for a personal visit soon, and Bibi not, and Bibe accused of not really asking for meeting? And money pledged to Morsi, like a billion (to start)? Pretty significant stand I think. Libya and arab spring is all on O’s plate now. Bush and tsunamis not revelant now for blame.
